Giuseppe and Maria Cocco grew up surrounded by leather and thread in a small workshop outside Lecce. They brought that craft with them when they crossed the Atlantic, building Cocco Boutique from their home in the United States without ever forgetting where their hands first learned the work. Every sandal carries those roots.
This is their final collection. After four decades of choosing the finest leathers and perfecting every detail, Giuseppe and Maria have decided it is time to close the workshop. These sandals represent everything they have built: old world technique, new world spirit, and care that does not cut corners.

Everything you need to know about our handmade sandals
Our sandals run true to size. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit. The leather will mold to your feet over the first few wears, creating a custom fit that gets more comfortable with time.
Most customers find them comfortable right away, but like any quality leather footwear, they get even better after a few wears. The leather softens and conforms to your foot shape. We recommend wearing them for short periods initially, gradually increasing as they adapt to your feet.
Keep them away from prolonged water exposure. If they get wet, let them air dry naturally away from direct heat. Occasionally apply a quality leather conditioner to keep the leather supple. The natural patina that develops over time is normal and adds character to handmade leather.
Every pair is entirely handmade by Giuseppe and Maria using traditional techniques. We use premium Italian leather, 8 stitches per inch for durability, and reject 60% of hides to maintain our standards. These sandals will last 5-10+ years with proper care, making them far more economical than cheaper alternatives you'd replace every season.
After over 40 years of crafting sandals, Giuseppe and Maria have decided to close their workshop and retire. This final collection represents everything they've learned about making exceptional footwear. Once these are gone, there won't be any more.
We offer free worldwide shipping on all orders. Your sandals will be carefully packaged and shipped within 1-2 business days. You'll receive tracking information via email once your order ships. Delivery typically takes 5-10 business days depending on your location.
Yes. We offer 30-day returns for unworn sandals in original condition. If the size isn't quite right, we're happy to exchange them. Contact us at info@coccoboutique.com and we'll take care of you. Return shipping is free within the US.
Yes, the leather straps are designed to accommodate different foot widths and will adjust to your foot shape over time. Many of our customers with wider feet find them very comfortable. If you have concerns, feel free to email us before ordering and we can provide specific guidance.
